SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA SURF FORECAST: EFFECTIVE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16 AND WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17

The Northwest ground swell showed up right on schedule Sunday. There were full corduroy lines to the horizon at exposed breaks. Along with the Santa Ana conditions, it made for some fun pull-in, close-out barrels.

Epic weather is scheduled to continue for Tuesday.
Look for super clean conditions for most of the day with air temps around 70 on the sand (doesnt get much better than this in November). The Northwest ground swell energy backs down. The little Southern energy continues to keep it going flat. Tide push helps in the morning going to 6.1 feet at 10:59 a.m. Evening low tide of -0.6 feet well after sunset at 6:54 p.m.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16
County Line/Zuma: Waist-high
Malibu/Topanga: Thigh-high
South Bay: Waist-high plus on sets
Huntington/Newport: Waist-high range
Salt Creek/Trestles: Up to wasit-high

Some intermediate period Northwest swell hits overnight and into Wednesday in the chest-high range.
Background South Pacific juice helps out the Summer breaks. Again we start off with the epic conditions for the morning crew, then the onshore flow will put a heavy bump on it starting around Noon. Tides go from a pre-dawn low of 3.2 feet at 5:47 a.m. to a high of
5.6 feet at 12:06 p.m.

WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 17
County Line/Zuma: Up to chest-high
Malibu/Topanga: Thigh-high
South Bay: Chest-high with pluses
Huntington/Newport: HB to chest-high
Salt Creek/Trestles: Up to chest-high

LONG RANGE FORECAST
More steep Northwest ground swell lines in the fun range for Friday and our first macking NWer next Monday. Persistent Southern hemi energy continues for a while.
